Valencia, an ever-awake padel city — the heart of the world's largest indoor padel club.

Some trips are for escape, others for understanding. My journey of escape made me realize once again why this sport has become my true passion.

Heading south out of the city, toward... Massanassa. There’s a place there that truly took my breath away: Valencia Sports City, home to the world’s largest indoor padel club.

An unexpected encounter with the "Padel Cathedral"

Built in 2010, the sports city was initially just a football club. Then one day, the founders had a brainstorm: transform their pitches into padel courts.

Starting with only six courts, the club has grown steadily over time and now boasts a multitude of courts—30 in total today, including 20 indoor and 10 outdoor ones.

When I first stepped inside, I had a strange feeling, as if I were in a... Padel Cathedral. The height, the lighting, the energy of the players... everything was magnificent.

A well-oiled machine

The club is part of a Spanish group that manages more than a dozen comprehensive facilities across the country. With over 140 courts in Valencia alone, a team of around thirty people ensures the machine runs smoothly: reception, logistics, coaching, maintenance... everything operates with millimetric precision.

The bar is spacious, bright, and fully equipped, with a direct view of the first three indoor courts. There, you’ll find players, their families, and curious onlookers coming to watch the matches.

The locker rooms are spotless, and the courts look brand new. It’s clear that everything is well-organized.
